FAQs

No – non-members may also apply for any specialization. However, there are significant discounts and other benefits that are included with a person’s membership in ICCI.
No – while training and education do not have to be acquired through ICCI, applicants must complete the required number of hours to receive a specialization, including the incorporation of biblical principles and life-coaching skills with appropriate theory, knowledge, and practice. This applies to the general specialization Coaching Course NICHES and not the unique Course Coaching MODELS we offer with specific trainers. Applicants who are interested in one of ICCI’s Specialization Models must complete the requisite ICCI courses.
Yes – if an applicant is seeking a specialization in one of the general Course Coaching NICHES, this is permitted. Applicants who are interested in one of ICCI’s Specialization Models must complete all the requisite courses associated with that model. See the courses listed in the specialization dropdown grid.
Individuals seeking a specialization must minimally be credentialed as an Associate Christian Life Coach, having met all ICCI requirements for that level. Associate Life Coaches can then add as many specializations as they are interested in. However, since each specialization requires 30 additional hours of training and education, applicants may also want to consider being credentialed at the next level up as well (i.e., Certified Professional Christian Life Coach).
ICCI maintains and publishes a list of approved Mentors, which currently includes nearly all of our trainers. Furthermore, ICCI will also shortly be developing a pathway to certify additional Mentors who may be interested in serving in this capacity.
Yes – individuals may apply for as many specializations as they desire. Each specialization comes with its own unique certificate showing the designation.
